KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pushpa Lal Shrestha on Shrawan 7. The decision was made during the party’s office-bearers meeting held Thursday at its central office in Paris Danda.
Party spokesperson Agni Sapkota stated that the meeting also expressed condolences to those who lost their lives in the recent floods in Rasuwa and urged the government to take urgent and serious steps in rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts.
The party further called on the government to proactively prepare for potential future disasters, emphasizing the need for early measures to minimize damage.
According to Sapkota, the meeting also discussed internal and organizational matters, with several decisions made accordingly.
