KATHMANDU: Heavy rainfall is likely at one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces today, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
With the weather expected to remain partly to generally cloudy across the country, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is forecast at several places in Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim, and at a few locations in the rest of the country.
There is also a possibility of light to moderate snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.
The monsoon system is currently active throughout the country. Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected at some locations in Koshi Province and other hilly areas, and at a few places elsewhere.
Light to moderate snowfall may also occur at one or two locations in high-altitude hilly and mountainous regions.
