HoR passes Secured Transaction (first amendment) Bill, 2081



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has unanimously passed the Bill related to Secured Transactions (first amendment), 2081 BS.

In today’s HoR meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the endorsement of the bill unopposed.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, had tabled the bill for endorsement of the lower house.

He informed the House that the government was committed to implementing the bill.

The amendments mentioned in Finance Committee’s report 1 and 2 regarding Secured Transactions (first amendment) Bill, 2081 were also passed unanimously.

The HoR will meet next at 1:00 pm tomorrow.
