ID cards to be provided to injured in Gen-Z movement



GORKHA: The District Administration Office, Gorkha, has announced that it will issue identification cards to those injured during the Gen-Z movement. On Sunday, the office stated that eight local residents who were hurt during the protests on September 8 and 9 will receive these ID cards.

Assistant Chief District Officer Chitrangat Baral said that each injured person will also receive Rs 20,000 from the Ministry of Health and Population to cover medical expenses.

Those injured in Gorkha include Santosh Gurung, Sujit Thapa, Roshan Regmi, Arjun Bhatt, Sanjita Gurung, Dhruv Pariyar, Kumar Adhikari, and Divasababu Shrestha.

“Through this initiative, the government aims to provide services and benefits to those injured during the movement by issuing ID cards,” said Assistant CDO Baral.
