Gunfire reported near President Paudel’s residence in Bohoratar



KATHMANDU: Gunfire was reported near the private residence of President Ramchandra Paudel in Balaju Bohoratar on Tuesday.

During the Gen-Z protests, an uncontrolled crowd set fire to Paudel’s residence at around noon. Security personnel assigned to protect the house had to leave the area after failing to control the situation.

Local sources said that additional police forces were deployed earlier, and it was the police who fired the shots in the area.
