Protesters set fire to Nidhi’s residence in Baneshwor Heights

KATHMANDU: Demonstrators set fire to the Baneshwor Heights residence of Nepali Congress leader and former vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi on Tuesday.

The arson comes amid escalating protests by the Gen-Z movement, which turned violent after government security forces used force against demonstrators.

Earlier, protesters had also set fire to Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa’s residence in Ratopul.
