Gen-Z youth stage protests across Madhesh Province

BIRGUNJ: Gen-Z youth have begun protests across multiple districts in Madhesh Province from early Tuesday morning.

Demonstrations are ongoing in the provincial capital Janakpurdham, Dhanusha’s Dhalkebar, Siraha’s Lahan, Mahottari’s Bardibas, Bara’s Kalaiya, and Birgunj.

The protests follow the deaths of 19 young people shot by police during Monday’s demonstrations, which has fueled anger among the Gen-Z activists. Participants are expressing their dissent against the government through these demonstrations.

In response to the unrest, local authorities have imposed a curfew in Birgunj to maintain law and order.
