National Assembly meeting scheduled for today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly under the Federal Parliament is scheduled to take place today at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwar. The session will begin at 1:15 pm.

During the meeting, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Devendra Dahal, is set to present a proposal for the discussion and endorsement of the Ship Operation and Management Bill, 2024, along with the report from the Legislative Management Committee.

Similarly, National Assembly Secretary Dr. Surendra Aryal will table the message received from the House of Representatives concerning the Water Resources Bill, 2024.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, will also present a proposal for the consideration of the Customs Bill, 2023, which was received with a message from the House of Representatives.
