KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives in the Federal Parliament is scheduled for today at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor at 1 pm.
The agenda for today’s meeting includes the presentation of the ’61st Annual Report of the Auditor General, 2081′ by Prime Minister KP Oli.
Additionally, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will propose the withdrawal of the ‘Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081.’
The agenda also includes addressing the notice of opposition from MP Prem Suwal concerning the proposal to seek permission to present the ‘Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081’ for decision.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will present the ‘Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081’ during the meeting.
Furthermore, the Parliament Secretariat has stated that the agenda includes motions to seek permission to introduce the ‘Nepal Police Bill, 2081’ and the ‘Armed Police Force, Nepal Bill, 2081.’
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will also present a motion to discuss the ‘Banking Offences and Punishments (Second Amendment) Bill, 2080,’ along with the report from the Finance Committee.
