Chandragiri Cable Car reopens after two-month closure

KATHMANDU: The Chandragiri Cable Car and Bhaleshwar Temple have resumed operations from Saturday, following repair and maintenance work after the damage caused during the GenZ movement on September 9.

The service had remained closed for nearly two months due to vandalism during the protests. With the reopening, visitors and devotees have started returning to Chandragiri to visit the Bhaleshwar Temple.

The previously deserted area has once again come alive with activity as cable car services resume.
