Curfew imposed in Bhairahawa and Butwal, Rupandehi



BHAIRAHAWA: The District Administration Office of Rupandehi has imposed a curfew in Bhairahawa and Butwal amid escalating Gen-Z protests.

The curfew will be in effect on Monday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In Bhairahawa, the restricted area covers from Rohini Khola Bridge in the east to Bethari Bridge in the west, Buddha Chowk in the north, and Meudihawa in the south, according to Chief District Officer Tokaraj Pandey.

In Butwal, the curfew applies from Petrol Pump Dhago Karkhana in the east to Belbas Chowk in the west, Chidiya Khola in the north, and Manglapur along with 100 meters on either side of the Butwal-Bhairahawa Road in the south.

The order prohibits all movement, gatherings, rallies, meetings, or sit-ins in the designated areas.
