Gen-Z Protest: Most injured are students and young adults



KATHMANDU: During clashes at the Gen-Z protests near the Parliament, most of the injured were teenagers and young adults. At the Trauma Centre in Bir Hospital, 50 people are receiving treatment, while six have already died. The majority are school or college-age students.

Among the deceased:

Shreeyam Chaulagai, 19, Global College student

Sulabh Raj Shrestha, 21, Banke

Buddi Tamang, 42, Kirtipur

Three others, estimated between 27–30 years

The injured at the Trauma Centre include 50 people aged mainly between 16 and 30, from various districts such as Bardia, Jumla, Gorkha, Sindhupalchok, and others.
