Hundreds injured, one dead following Gen-Z protest in New Baneshwor



KATHMANDU: Civil Service Hospital has been overwhelmed with injured people following clashes near the Parliament building in New Baneshwor.

Security forces fired rubber bullets and tear gas as demonstrators attempted to breach the Parliament premises, resulting in dozens of injuries. Those hurt include protesters, police personnel, Armed Police Force members, and journalists.

A protester injured during clashes in New Baneswor has died while undergoing treatment, according to Civil Service Hospital officials.
