KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will hold its Central Committee meeting today (Friday) at 1 pm at the party’s central office in Banasthali, party spokesperson Manish Jha confirmed.
The meeting will discuss 13 agenda items.
According to Jha, the discussions will cover recent political developments, the party’s preparations for the upcoming by-election in Rupandehi Constituency-3, the parliamentary probe committee’s report on the cooling-off period provision in the Civil Service Bill, the recent visit visa controversy, and the performance of RSP lawmakers in parliament.
The agenda also includes proposals to amend the party statute, progress reports from central departments, and presentations by provincial in-charges on the situation in their respective provinces.
The Central Committee is also expected to review and endorse decisions made by the party secretariat and decide on a proposal to reassign responsibilities to former central members.
