Nepal’s mountains cannot be described in words: NA Chair

KATHMANDU: National Assembly (NA) Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal has said that Nepal’s majestic mountains and ranges are beyond description and that linking them with adventure tourism would create a meaningful global identity for the country.

Speaking after observing the photo exhibition “Mountain Tourism: Our Pride, Our Identity” organized by the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) to mark the 18th Republic Day, Dahal said, “For the past three years, RSS has introduced and promoted the country through various thematic photo exhibitions. These exhibitions have provided the public an opportunity to appreciate and understand Nepal’s invaluable natural heritage.”

Welcoming Chairperson Dahal to the event, RSS Executive Chairperson Dharmendra Jha expressed confidence that the exhibition would help raise awareness of the beauty and significance of Nepal’s mountain ranges.

The exhibition, which opened on June 21, features 96 photographs showcasing Nepal’s mountains, mountain life, and major tourist destinations.
