BHADRAPUR: One person died in a motorcycle accident last night at Sano Kerkha in Kamal Rural Municipality-3 along the East-West Highway.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Armed Police Sub-Inspector Puran Lal Rajbanshi, who was stationed at the Ilam Armed Police Force Nepal (BOP).
The motorcycle (Pra 1-02-0052PA 7029) was heading toward Kerkha from Birtamod when it lost control and crashed.
Rajbanshi, who sustained serious injuries, died during treatment at B&C Hospital in Birtamod, DSP Khadka said.
