Cabinet meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has called a meeting of the Council of Ministers, scheduled to take place at 5 PM today at his official residence in Baluwatar.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will focus on several key issues, including discussions on the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year currently under deliberation in Parliament, a review of ongoing government activities, current national affairs, and the appointment of a new governor for the Nepal Rastra Bank.

The central bank has remained without a permanent governor, as the government has yet to make an appointment. Neelam Dhungana is currently serving as Acting Governor.
