During a press conference in Kathmandu on Saturday, CAN announced the schedules for Nepal’s national men’s and women’s teams, as well as age-group tournaments. CAN Secretary Paras Khadka stated that Nepal’s primary focus this year will be on World Cup qualification.

In April, the Nepali team will participate in the Hong Kong series, followed by a UK tour in May. In June, Nepal will compete in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.

Khadka further informed that Nepal’s T20 World Cup Qualifier preparations will take place in Sri Lanka. The team will play the World Cup Qualifier in Oman in October and the World Cup League 2 in the UAE in November. Meanwhile, Nepal’s women’s team will play a T20 series against Bhutan in April.

On the domestic front, the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) is set for November, while the Prime Minister Cup Cricket tournament will be held in March. CAN will also soon announce the grading of Nepali cricketers, according to Secretary Khadka.
