PM Sushila Karki-led government registers first bill



KATHMANDU: The government led by Prime Minister (PM) Sushila Karki has registered the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082, marking its first legislative move.

This is the first bill to be registered in the National Assembly following the dissolution of the House of Representatives and represents the first legislative initiative of the interim government.

The bill was presented by Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal. It had been under discussion prior to the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
