Loan-shark victims stage sit-in with four-point demand



KATHMANDU: The Struggle Committee against Meter Interest (loan-sharking) staged a sit-in at Maitighar on Sunday, putting forward a four-point demand.

The protesters, who are focusing their movement in Kathmandu, called for unity among victims, cancellation of fraudulent loan documents, legal action against loan sharks, and the return of land seized from borrowers.
