Dry landslide blocks Mid-Hill Highway

LAMJUNG: A dry landslide has completely obstructed the Mid-Hill Highway at Bimire Bhanjyang in Ward 10 of Madhyanepal Municipality.

According to police, the continuous falling of debris has made it impossible to immediately clear the landslide and reopen the road.

The landslide, which occurred on Thursday morning, disrupted vehicular movement along the Pokhara–Besisahar route.

As a result, vehicles are now being rerouted through an alternative path via Kaure, Bangre, and Thansing Danda Chautara.

Inspector Yamanarayan Aryal of the Bhulbhule Area Police Office confirmed that clearance efforts have been delayed due to the ongoing risk of falling debris.
