Four parliamentary committees, including International Relations, to meet today



KATHMANDU: Four committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today.

These include the International Relations and Tourism Committee, the Federal Empowerment and National Concerns Committee, the Legislative Management Committee, and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.

The International Relations and Tourism Committee will convene at 8:45 a.m. at Singha Durbar to discuss foreign visits and current affairs with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Secretary.

The Concerns Committee will meet at 11:00 a.m., also at Singha Durbar, to deliberate on the 34th Annual Report of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority for the fiscal year 2080/81.

At 11:30 a.m., the Legislative Management Committee will gather in its meeting room at Singha Durbar to review the draft report of the Ships (Operation and Management) Bill, 2081.

Meanwhile, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will also meet at 11:30 a.m. to assess the monitoring program of the post-earthquake reconstruction efforts in the Barpak area.
