Football players protest against repeated suspension of Martyr’s Memorial A-Division League



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Football Players’ Association staged a protest against the repeated suspension of the Martyr’s Memorial A-Division League over the past two years, considered the backbone of Nepali football.

The protest took place outside the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) headquarters in Satdobato, Lalitpur. Players held placards with slogans such as “Our boots are idle” and “Where is our right to play?”
