KATHMANDU: Light rain is likely at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces today, according to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Meteorologists have reported that the weather will remain partly cloudy across the hilly regions, while most other parts of the country are expected to experience mainly fair conditions.
A partial influence of a westerly low-pressure system is currently affecting the western region of Nepal, leading to slight atmospheric instability.
The Division has advised travelers and residents in high-altitude areas to take precautions, as temperatures may drop slightly in the coming days due to this system.
