KATHMANDU: Weather conditions across Nepal continue to be influenced by the monsoon system, with the monsoon low-pressure trough currently located south of its average position, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
This afternoon, generally cloudy skies are expected across the country. Moderate rainfall is likely in some hilly areas, particularly in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in isolated areas of the Terai in the remaining provinces.
For tonight, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the hilly regions, especially in Koshi Province, and partly cloudy elsewhere. There is a continued chance of moderate rain in some hilly areas and a few Terai locations.
