Doctors stage sit-in at Bharatpur Hospital

CHITWAN: Doctors held a sit-in at Bharatpur Hospital today to protest issues related to the Consumer Court.

Medical professionals from various hospitals across Chitwan gathered at Bharatpur Hospital and staged the sit-in for an hour. Private hospital operators, nurses, and other health sector stakeholders joined the protest in solidarity.

The sit-in is part of a phased protest organized by the Nepal Medical Association to express dissatisfaction over the matter.

Nepal Medical Association Chitwan President Dr. Umesh Nepal and others addressed the gathering, stating that the protest will continue until their demands are met. They emphasized that medical services should not be subject to proceedings in the consumer court.
