Ram Nawami a time to embrace Lord Ram’s ideals: Vice President

KATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has expressed his belief that the Ram Nawami festival will help deepen faith in the ideals, truth, righteousness, and dignity embodied by Lord Ram.

He emphasized that the festival should serve as an opportunity to embrace Lord Ram’s values and commit to working toward national unity, prosperity, and progress.

“Ram Nawami is not just a festival—it is a sacred occasion to align our lives with the principles of Shri Ram,” he said. “May everyone be inspired to follow the path of virtue and resolute action, just as Shri Ram did.”

To mark the occasion, the federal government has declared a public holiday across the country today.
