KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is taking place today.

The meeting will take place at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor at 1 pm.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, six ordinances recently issued by the government will be presented for discussion and decision during today’s meeting.

These ordinances cover a range of topics, including amendments to Nepal Acts related to cooperatives, improving the economic and business environment, promoting good governance, land-related issues, privatization, and fiscal responsibility.

In addition, Finance Committee Chairman Santosh Chalise will present the Report of the Committee on the Secure Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 and the Report of the Committee on the Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill.

State Affairs and Good Governance Committee Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada will present the Report of the Committee on the Prevention of Corruption (First Amendment) Bill, 2081.

Similarly, Prime Minister KP Oli is scheduled to present the Annual Report of the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission, 2079-80.

Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will present the Semi-Annual Evaluation Report on the Budget and Program Implementation Status for the Fiscal Year 2081-82.
