Prime Minister Karki holding all-party meeting today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has convened an all-party meeting for today (Friday). According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will take place at 4 pm to discuss preparations for the House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5, 2026.

The Prime Minister has invited representatives from major political parties, security agencies, the Election Commission, and other election-related institutions. The government has been holding regular consultations with key stakeholders in the lead-up to the March 5 polls.

The Election Commission has already made the election timetable public, and major parties—including the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, Rastriya Swatantra Party, along with smaller and Madhesh-based parties—have intensified their election-related activities.
