Western low-pressure system brings clouds, rain today



KATHMANDU: A western low-pressure system is influencing the weather across Nepal, particularly in the western region, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to be generally cloudy over the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and partly cloudy elsewhere. Light to moderate rain and snowfall are likely in some hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the hilly regions will remain generally cloudy, while skies in other parts of the country will be mostly clear. There is also a chance of light rain or snowfall in some hilly and mountainous areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
