Parliamentary Hearing Committee to meet today to elect new chairperson



KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (Joint) of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to meet today to initiate the process of electing a new chairperson.

The meeting will be held at 5:15 PM in the hall of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee. The main agenda is to move forward with the election of the committee’s chair.

The position has remained vacant since Ishwori Devi Neupane resigned after being elected chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee. According to the official notice, today’s meeting has been called to select her successor.
