Meeting of five communist parties underway in Parisdanda



KATHMANDU: The main opposition party, CPN (Maoist Centre), has called a meeting with various communist-aligned parties for discussions.

The meeting of five communist parties is currently taking place at the Maoist Centre’s party headquarters in Parisdanda.

Key leaders attending the discussion include Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chair of CPN (Unified Socialist), Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma ‘Prakanda’, Spokesperson for the Biplav-led CPN, Mohan Bikram Singh, General Secretary of CPN (Mashaal), and CP Gajurel, Acting General Secretary of CPN (Revolutionary Maoist).

According to Dahal’s secretariat, the meeting is focused on contemporary political issues.
