RSP’s Khanal questions PM Oli: “Are you becoming Hitler?”

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Shishir Khanal has criticized the House of Representatives for becoming a mere shadow of the government.

Speaking during a session of the House, he expressed dissatisfaction over the suspension of passes for two YouTubers by the Parliament Secretariat.

He said, “Can an elected person also become Hitler? Today, we have heard the news of the suspension.”

Khanal urged the public to study the history of Germany in the 1930s, stating that Hitler did not rise to power through force, but by winning an election.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the Prime Minister’s statements, which he described as occasionally violent and authoritarian, and asked the Prime Minister, “Are you trying to become Hitler?”
