RSP holding Parliamentary Party meeting today



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a Parliamentary Party meeting at 2 PM today at its office in Chamati, Kathmandu.

The meeting is expected to focus on the six ordinances currently under consideration.

The party will also discuss the organizational structure of its Policy Review and Legal Affairs departments.

RSP has already submitted a request to the Parliament Secretariat, recommending the rejection of the six ordinances.

The meeting will determine how party members will present their position on the matter.

Another key agenda item is party chair Rabi Lamichhane’s letter to Speaker Devraj Ghimire, requesting the reinstatement of his suspended parliamentary membership.

Lamichhane submitted the letter on January 31, and the Speaker has yet to respond after reviewing it.

Additionally, RSP plans to raise the Pathibhara Cable Car controversy during the House of Representatives session on February 6.
