NC-UML coalition for stability: DPM Singh

DHARAN: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has said although the Nepali Congress and CPN UML are the ultimate competitors in Nepali politics, they formed the present government to ensure stability in the country.

During a programme organized by Dharan Sub-metropolis working committee of Nepali Congress on Sunday, DPM Singh, who is also the NC leader, reminded that NC and UML had forged alliance for struggle and government leadership even in the past.

“The government is formed considering the present needs and evolving context,” he argued, adding that it was working in a way to ensure results.

The projects would be completed and development activities intensified by the present government.

He urged party leaders and cadres to concentrate on development and public service.

On the occasion, party leaders as Min Bahadur Bishwokarma, Umesh Thapa, Shyam Pokhrel, Sujendra Tamang expressed their views.
