Highway near Char Kilo in Sindhupalchok caves in, traffic halted



SINDHUPALCHOK: A section of the highway at Char Kilo in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality–4 has caved in, forcing a complete halt in traffic movement.

According to police, the damaged stretch measures around 15 meters in length and about one foot in depth.

The road had begun sinking on Thursday, but continuous rainfall since Saturday has further worsened the situation, leading to a full closure of the highway.
