CPN-UML Secretariat meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML is holding a Secretariat meeting today at its central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

According to Publicity Department Chief Rajendra Gautam, the meeting, scheduled to begin at 3 PM, will focus on preparations for the party’s second Statute Convention, set to be held in Lalitpur from Friday to Sunday.

The meeting will also review key documents, including the political report by Chairman KP Sharma Oli, the statute amendment report by Vice Chairman Bishnu Paudel, and the organizational report by General Secretary Shankar Pokharel.

The UML has stated that a total of 2,350 participants are expected at the convention, including 2,033 representatives and 317 invitees.
