Nepal falls 4-0 to Tajikistan in AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers opener



KATHMANDU: Nepal suffered a 4-0 loss against Tajikistan in their first match of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers. The match, part of Group ‘K’, was held last night at Pamir Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

Azizboev Muhammadali scored twice for Tajikistan, while Rahmatsoh Ramatzoda and Delor Sharipov each contributed a goal, according to international media reports.

Nepal’s next match is scheduled against Syria on Saturday. In Wednesday’s game, Syria secured a 2-1 victory over the Philippines.
