Meetings of two National Assembly committees scheduled for today



KATHMANDU: Two committees under the National Assembly are set to convene meetings today. The Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will hold its 297th meeting at 12:30 PM in the committee hall at Singha Durbar.

The agenda includes discussions on delegated legislation and enhancing collaboration with the Nepal Law Society. President of the Nepal Law Society and former Deputy Speaker Pushpa Bhusal (Gautam), along with the society’s program director Mohan Lal Acharya, have been invited to participate in the meeting.

Similarly, the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee will hold its 305th meeting at 1:00 PM. The committee will review and approve its annual work plan for the fiscal year 2082/83 (2025/26) and discuss the monitoring report and interactions conducted in Lumbini Province.
