Prakash Man Singh appointed as acting Prime Minister



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakashman Singh to oversee the daily administrative duties of the Prime Minister during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s absence.

Prime Minister Oli departed for Turkmenistan last night to attend the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.

According to the Office of the President, the appointment was made on the recommendation of the Prime Minister and in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal.
