RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane arrested from his residence

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has been arrested following the Tulsipur High Court’s order to remand him in custody.

Police officers, some in plain clothes and others in uniform, arrived at Lamichhane’s residence and took him into custody, RSP sources confirmed.

The High Court’s Butwal bench had overturned earlier district court rulings and ordered his detention in connection with the Supreme Cooperative savings misappropriation case.
