Nepal witnessing partial influence of westerly and local winds



KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has reported that the country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds.

According to the Division, the weather is partly cloudy in the Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

This afternoon, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear.

Light rain with occasional lightning is possible in one or two places in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

There is also a chance of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will stay mostly clear.
