The third FENIE general assembly in April



KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepali Industries and Entrepreneurs (FENIE) is holding its third annual general assembly on coming April 2 and 3.

More than 2,000 industrialists and entrepreneurs from all over the country are expected to gather in the federal capital, Kathmandu, for the assembly.

The assembly will elect a new working committee including 17 office bearers, according to FENIE Coordinator Bhagirath Sapkota.

A chairperson, two vice-chairpersons including a woman, a general secretary, a deputy secretary general, and four secretaries in each sectors to oversee organization, publicity, foreign affairs, and funds will be elected.

Furthermore, the federation is also scheduled to hold an industrial exhibition on the sidelines of the general assembly.

The exhibition is being held to market the products produced by domestic, small, medium, and large-scale industries in the country.

The two-day exhibition will feature more than 100 exhibition halls showcasing the products and services from jimbu, yarsa, silajit found in Karnali to chhurpi, cardamom and tea and coffee from Koshi, said Coordinator Sapkota.
