NC President Deuba stresses on party’s strengthening



GANDAKI: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has stressed that party’s leaders and cadres should strengthen the party organization being united.

Inaugurating the orientation organized by Nepali Congress Central Policy, Research and Training Institute in Pokhara today, President Deuba laid emphasis on the need of making the party united by ending groupism.

He clarified that alliance between the NC and CPN (UML) was made to end political instability, adding it would be easier for the party to get majority in the upcoming general election, if the party is united.

Though the CPN (UML) is the main competitor, there is no situation of distrusting it, he argued. Stating that there are immense potentials for the development of the country, the NC President emphasized that the NC should play leading role for the overall development of the country.

Similarly, Vice-President and Chief of the NC Central Policy, Research and Training Institute, Purna Bahadur Khadka, said orientation from central to lower level of the party would be forwarded in an effective manner.

He pointed out the need of establishing the party as the strong organization by raising hope among the leaders and cadres.

Likewise, President of NC, Kaski, Kishor Datta Baral, pointed out the need of connecting the party with entrepreneurship, stressing on practical use of BP’s thoughts.

Around 200 party leaders including district presidents, vice-presidents and province presidents, among others, are participating in the two-day orientation programme.
