RSP’s parliamentary meeting scheduled for Wednesday

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has scheduled a parliamentary party meeting for Wednesday at 2 PM at its Chamati office.

The meeting will focus on discussions regarding six ordinances currently under consideration.

Additionally, the party will deliberate on the organizational structure of its Policy Review and Legal Affairs departments.

RSP has already submitted a request to the Parliament Secretariat, recommending the rejection of the six ordinances. The meeting will determine how party members will present their stance on the issue.

Another key topic of discussion will be party chair Rabi Lamichhane’s letter to Speaker Devraj Ghimire, requesting the release of his parliamentary membership’s suspension. Lamichhane had submitted the letter on January 31, and the Speaker has yet to respond after reviewing it.

Furthermore, RSP plans to raise the Pathibhara Cable Car controversy during the House of Representatives session on February 6.
