Maoist Center holding ‘vigilance rally’ in Beni

BENI: The Maoist Center is set to hold a vigilance rally today in Beni, the district headquarters of Myagdi.

Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is scheduled to address the rally in the afternoon.

Dahal arrived in Beni via Pokhara on Monday to participate in the event, accompanied by leaders Dinanath Sharma, Hariraj Adhikari, and others.

This morning, Chairman Dahal engaged with locals to discuss the district’s development and construction projects.

During the conversation, residents expressed concern about the protection of the Tatopani (Hotwater) Pond.

They emphasized the need for an embankment along the river, as rising waters from the Myagdi River could impact the pond.

Dahal assured the locals that he had taken note of their concerns and would take steps to address the issue.
