Maoist Standing Committee meeting postponed to tomorrow morning

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Center) has postponed its scheduled Standing Committee meeting at the last moment.

Today’s meeting was supposed to finalize discussions on the political report titled “Commitment to Party Transformation and Reconstruction: The Need of the Hour”, which is set to be presented at the Central Committee meeting starting tomorrow.

The meeting, initially scheduled for 2 PM today, has now been rescheduled for 8 AM tomorrow.

The Maoist Center, energized by the results of the recent local by-elections, has already announced its decision to contest the 2084 elections independently.
