Preparations intensify at Nepal Academy for Ujyalo Nepal’s formal unveiling

KATHMANDU: The Ujyalo Nepal Party, an organization with Energy Minister Kulman Ghising as its patron, is set to be formally announced today, with preparations underway at the Nepal Academy in Kamaladi.

The venue has seen increased activity since early morning as organizers, volunteers, and supporters engage in final-stage preparations for the announcement ceremony. The hall and surrounding premises have been decorated with the party’s flags, banners, and promotional materials, creating a festive atmosphere ahead of the event.

Party well-wishers and supporters have been gathering in the premises, many taking photographs with party flags and publicity items as the countdown to the launch progresses.

Organizers said that the party’s official flag, stage backdrop, and seating arrangements have been set up in line with the party’s planned visual identity. Supporters have also been distributing leaflets and displaying placards calling for a bright, corruption-free Nepa, the message widely associated with the emerging political group.

According to the preparation committee, the declaration ceremony will feature Energy Minister Kulman Ghising as the chief guest. His participation is expected to draw significant public and media attention, especially given his reputation for administrative reform and leadership in the energy sector.

The announcement program is expected to outline the party’s founding principles, organizational structure, and immediate political agenda. Supporters at the venue said they anticipate the leadership to position the party as an alternative force focused on transparency, accountability, and service-oriented governance.

The venue has been secured, and sound systems, media arrangements, and guest seating have already been finalized. Journalists and photographers from various outlets were seen inspecting the area and preparing for live coverage.
