Prithvi Highway reopens after landslide clearance



CHITWAN: Two-way traffic has resumed along the Prithvi Highway after it was obstructed by a dry landslide at Chumkhola in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-3, Chitwan, last night.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the road was cleared using equipment mobilized by the Department of Roads. Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal, the office’s information officer, said that traffic movement in both directions resumed late last night after the debris was removed.
