NEPSE down 15.64 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepali stock market continued its downward trend on Wednesday, with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) falling by 15.64 points. This 0.57% decrease brought the NEPSE index to 2726.33.

The day saw a trading volume of 11,345,994 shares worth Rs 4.72 billion.

While 39 companies saw an increase in their share prices, 213 companies experienced a decline. No company’s share price remained stable. A total of 326 companies were traded throughout the day, with 68,594 transactions.

Only two groups, Mutual Funds and Trading, saw gains, rising by 0.22% and 0.07%, respectively. All other groups were in the red, with the Hydro Power sector experiencing the biggest loss, dropping by 0.92%.
